A Letter Never Sent:

My Beautiful Boy,

I apologize for what is happened. I know you were hurt and I don’t blame you for saying “don’t talk to me ever“. I will always love you! You will always be the most perfect person to me! I love being pregnant with you. I love giving birth to you. I loved every cuddle, kiss, hug, playtime, play dates, and watching you grow. From walking to riding a bike. I love you and apologize that mom is an alcoholic, I am better and getting better. I will always love you and I will continue to fight for you.

I love you my wonderful wonderful wonderful son.

I’m a wife. I’m a mom. I found my way to a bottle vodka, I binge drink. My husband found it almost every time. I broke his heart, and I broke my own heart, and I broke a little boys. I’m sober.
